Thank you for visiting my website Art by Anne-Marie Bloor. I was born in the north of England but emigrated to Perth in 1999. I have been a graphic designer for over 30 years and enjoy my part time role in the field. However, my real passion lies in painting. Originally I started with oceanscapes but quickly moved onto animals and most recently botanical art.

After losing my brother recently I felt I needed a change. I didn’t want the restrictions of working from a reference photo and making it as real as possible. I just wanted to paint freely and what just came out of my head. I am loving painting these abstract florals. At the moment they are all Australian natives. I really hope you enjoy my art.

I paint with acrylic on canvas. I love every minute I am painting. My happy place.
