Thank you for visiting my website Art by Anne-Marie Bloor. I was born in the north of England but emigrated to Perth in 1999. I have been a graphic designer for over 30 years and enjoy my part time role in the field. However, my real passion lies in painting. Originally I started with oceanscapes but quickly moved onto animals and botanical art. I have also now branched out into pet portraits, all of which I love.

For me it’s all about making the painting look as real as possible and I always start with the eyes. I paint with acrylic on canvas. I love every minute I am painting. My happy place.
